Haven't blogged in a while :/ I know! How naughty am I!
I have had a fabulous couple of weeks!
I have been off work,enjoying some "chill" time,it has been lovely,catching up with friends and family,relaxing,enjoying lie-ins,few cheeky glasses of vino (on a school night!)
I celebrated my 24th birthday the weekend just gone.
I had a wonderful weekend,I decided on having a birthday BBQ on the Saturday,I invited friends and family and we all had a great time,lots of yummy food,laughter and fun!
I got very spoilt for my birthday! I received lots of fabulous gifts :) I'll show you a few:
Dan bought me 4 Angel Fish,I think they are very pretty and have a lovely unique shape. I have wanted Angel Fish for our tank for a while but Dan has never really took a liking to them. So he bought them home for me to enjoy. He now quite likes them himself! :)
Dan also bought me some Guylian chocolates,they are my absolute favourite!
I got bought 4 butterfly scarfs,all from different people! It is lovely that they are all different colours and styles,and they have butterflies on! They are beautiful! Can't wait to wear them as the weather gets a bit chillier.
My dad and his partner,Teri bought me these beautiful roses.
I also got perfume,socks,money,vouchers,books,slippers,jewellery,hair accessories,nail varnishes,lovely little butterfly trinket box,the list goes on... Like I say,I was very spoilt!
On the Sunday (my actual birthDAY) we decided to go for a walk down by the river as it was a glorious day.
It was a lovely walk. Ruby loves the water,she gets so excited and loves being let off the lead.
Mia loves the water too,it was so warm!
Dan was teaching Mia how to skim stones,she did very well.
We went to Route 38 for dinner that evening,both my family and Dans family got together and we had a lovely time. I wasn't overly impressed with my meal,but the most important thing was that we all enjoyed ourselves :) I got a birthday cake too,everyone sang Happy Birthday to me and I blew out my candles.
I am going to pick up my new car tomorrow!!! EXCITED!!!
So here I am,another year older! I feel very blessed to have loving friends and family around me,they made my birthday so much more special.
